Holy Family Catholic Regional Division is proud to nominate Scott Randall for the HFCRD’s 2024 Excellence in Catholic Education Award, which is presented annually by the Council of Catholic School Superintendents of Alberta.

The award recognizes Catholic teachers in Alberta who do an exemplary job in preparing our youth to grow into outstanding Catholic citizens.

Scott Randall has been a teacher leader with HFCRD for twenty-four years and has worked in many roles in three different schools within the division. He has taught elementary, junior and senior high students, and has been an off-campus coordinator for Glenmary school and the division.

Scott has taught religion at multiple grade levels. He is leader and organizer of the student music ministry for all of the school masses and celebrations. He is a regular parishioner and leader in music ministry at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Peace River.

Scott is a third degree Knight and has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus for over twenty years. He is often seen recruiting student volunteers to work with him at Pancake Breakfasts at his local parish and organizing the Knights of Columbus Free throw competitions.
Scott finds opportunities for students to acquire Christian Service hours.

Scott also volunteers to coach Junior Girls Volleyball.

Scott is always willing to go above and beyond at the school in his teacher and coordination roles, at community events, the parish, and volunteer work. He genuinely cares about the well-being and success of each student and the school community. He devotes much time and effort into being a positive role model both in the profession and in everyday life. He is always willing to lend a hand and take action to help out when needed.

Scott has been married to Monique for thirty years. He has two lovely daughters and one granddaughter.

HFCRD is honoured to nominate Scott Randall for the 2024 Excellence in Catholic Education Award.

Congratulations Scott!
