Remembering Jessica Klymchuk
Posted: October 12, 2017
The staff, students and trustees of the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division were shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of Jessica Klymchuk, a devoted mother, companion, daughter, colleague and friend. Her life came to a sudden and tragic end on October 2nd, 2017. Jessica Klymchuk was a dedicated staff member at St. Stephen’s School in Valleyview for four years who filled multiple roles within the school as an Educational Assistant, Librarian and Bus Driver. Jessica will be remembered as a kind, loving person whose warm smile always brightened everyone’s day. She was a dependable, loving colleague who always put her relationships first. She supported students and staff in any way she could.
She played an integral role within the school and worked with students of all ages. She was always willing to help in any way she could. As the school bus driver, she helped out by driving for different class field trips. She was more than willing to drive students on overnight trips to places like Drumheller, Edmonton and Banff. She will be truly missed.
The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division and St. Stephen’s School would like to thank the community for the many messages of condolences and offers of support both locally and nationally. The kindness shown to the staff and students of St. Stephen’s School has been truly remarkable. The community of Valleyview has honoured Jessica’s memory and shown a flood of support for her family. A You Caring page has been created here to collect donations for Jessica’s children. The Jessica’s Love Donut is being sold until October 15th at the Tim Hortons in Peace River and Valleyview. An online auction is being organized by community members to raise funds.
Jessica Klymchuk’s celebration of life will take place on Thursday October 12th at 1:00pm at the Evangel Pentecostal Church in Valleyview.
