Congratulations Mary Lauck, School Wellness Worker St. Andrew’s School

(June 21, 2022) Mary Lauck, is a mother of two children and resides on the Sucker Creek First Nation. She is a former student of St Andrew’s School. Mary was a student athlete and participated in school sports during her time at St Andrew’s, her face is in several pictures on the wall at the school. Mary is well known in High Prairie and surrounding areas for her participation and involvement in community sports including hockey and baseball.

Mary faced many life hardships and obstacles that lead her to leave school prior to graduation. In 2016 Mary made the decision to follow her dream  to become a Social Worker. In 2021 Mary’s hard work and perseverance paid off, she finished high school and graduated with a Social Work Diploma in 2021 from Northern Lakes College. Mary’s passion has always been to work in a school setting with children and provide them guidance and support to help them to become successful students. Mary believes “ with my education and past life experiences, I can understand, relate and help with the needs of the students and their families”

To this day Mary still uses the phrase “ Once a Saint Always a Saint “. Welcome home Mary!
