(August 8, 2023) The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) is pleased to announce that Terry Hogan will be the Principal of Holy Family School in Grimshaw starting in the 2023-24 school year.

Terry makes his return to the HFCRD family having began his teaching career at St. Andrew’s School in High Prairie and also spent eight years as a Vice-Principal at Good Shepherd School in Peace River. Terry also worked as a Vice Principal at White Pines Intermediate in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and last year was the Principal of Georges P. Vanier School in Donnelly.

“It’s great when someone who began their journey in education with our division can return in a leadership role,” says Superintendent Betty Turpin. “We are excited to welcome Terry back and look forward to working with him in his role as Principal of a great school in a great community.”

Terry has bachelor’s degrees in biology and education, both from the University of Windsor and also has a master’s degree in education from Nipissing University. Terry has been involved in athletics his whole life and has coached numerous school and club teams across a wide variety of sports.

“Grimshaw has such tremendous facilities,” says Hogan “I love taking my kids to the rink, the library, activities at the field house, and of course the amazing school playground. I look forward to working with the students and staff at Holy Family School and building partnerships with the families and community.”

Terry was raised in the Catholic faith growing up and attended Catholic elementary and secondary schools. He is the proud father of 6 children and is married to a lovely and talented kindergarten teacher.
