The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) congratulates Jennifer Anderson who will be the Acting Principal of Holy Family School in Grimshaw in the 2021/22 year. She brings 20 years of teaching experience to this position and has been part of the Holy Family School and Holy Family Parish since 2004. Jennifer has been the Vice Principal of Holy Family School in Grimshaw since 2015 so she is very familiar with the school and community.
“Jennifer has been a strong member of the Holy Family School community for many years. She will be an excellent leader for the school,” said Superintendent Betty Turpin. “Jennifer’s professional experience and her strong faith in God will make her successful in this new role.”
After earning her Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta in 2001, she moved up north to McLennan for her first teaching position at École Providence School. After three years, she moved to Grimshaw to join the staff at Holy Family School. Through her years of service, Jennifer has been a teacher, student services coordinator, and faith coordinator. She has also been the Vice Principal at Holy Family School since the fall of 2015.
“I am really excited for the challenge of being Principal at Holy Family in the upcoming school year,” said Jennifer. “I am looking forward to taking on this new leadership opportunity in a school community so near and dear to my heart.”
