Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stéphane Gaudreau as the second Vice Principal of Glenmary School in Peace River.  Stéphane has been a teacher at Glenmary School since 2010 and will remain in his teaching position until a replacement teacher is hired.  The second Vice Principal position was added to Glenmary School this year in response to the recent increases in enrolment at the school.  Stéphane joins Principal Dominique Jean and Vice Principal Lauri Goudreault to complete the administrative team in the school.

“We are very excited to have Stéphane join the Glenmary School administrative team.  We had the privilege of witnessing his leadership skills and watching him grow in his faith in the 2015/16 Catholic Leadership Academy,” said HFCRD Superintendent Betty Turpin.  “We are confident that he will be a good fit in his new role and a good fit for this new administrative team.”

Stéphane Gaudreau grew up in a military family and had the opportunity to experience educational systems throughout Canada and Germany. He graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2008 studying in French with a Bachelor of Arts double major in philosophy and ethics in society. A year later, he attended Nipissing University in order to receive his teaching degree. Stéphane went on to teach in different schools in England for a year before joining Glenmary’s staff in December 2010 as a Junior High French Immersion Teacher. He has been involved in the community ever since, coaching basketball, helping in the organization of different social justice activities as well as volunteering at swim meets and triathlons – thanks to his wonderful wife Jaimie.

“I look forward to joining a great administration team at Glenmary and to continue working with an incredible staff,” said Stéphane.
