HFCRD Welcomes Two New Vice Principals

Dominique has been teaching in the Peace region since 1989 and brings a wealth of experience both as a teacher and administrator in elementary, Junior High and Senior High levels. Dominique completed his post-secondary education in Saguenay, Quebec. He holds a college degree in science and a baccalaureate in physical education completed at University of Quebec at Chicoutimi. Dominique has been been involved in school activities, particularly with sports. He has coached volleyball and badminton for many years and also worked as a sports coordinator.
“I am happy with this opportunity and new challenge of being the Vice Principal at Glenmary School,” said Dominique. “I am sure I can contribute to the mission of the school and help the students to become the adults and leaders of tomorrow.”
Jennifer was raised in the Edmonton area and moved up to the Peace Country in 2001 for her first teaching assignment at École Providence School. She spent three years in McLennan before transferring to Holy Family School in Grimshaw. Jennifer has taught grades 1-9 core French, and has spent over 10 years teaching grades 5 and 6. For the past five years, she has worked as the Student Services Coordinator in her school. She has been a foster parent for the past 12 years and is committed to helping children and youth be successful. Jennifer was nominated for the Excellence in Teaching Awards in 2004 and again in 2013. In the warmer months, she enjoys travelling, spending time at the lake, boating, fishing, and golf.
Jennifer is excited to continue working with the amazing staff, students, and parents at Holy Family School in her new role and is looking forward to the challenges it may bring.
