The substitute teacher is assigned to work in short term and occasional positions in the absence of a regular teacher. Substitute teachers are required to teach students, have an understanding of a subject matter, as well as to provide skills required for programmed lessons and purposeful training for the classroom they are assigned in the K-12 school environment.
