St. Stephens School located in Valleyview, Alberta requires a 1.00 FTE Probationary Grade 2 Teacher – Elementary Generalist for the 2023-24 School Year starting August 29, 2023 with the possibility of a continuous contract with successful evaluation.
The assignment is full-time Grade 2 homeroom, and potential roles in a K-6 environment that align with the candidate’s skill set.
The successful candidate will have training as an elementary generalist as well as a background in literacy, numeracy, knowledge, and understanding of inclusive education, First Nation Metis and Inuit students, programming, and skills to support students who require individualized programs, enrichment, modifications and/or accommodations to their learning.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in the use of educational technology, an understanding of assessment for learning, and be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.
