Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) warmly congratulates Victoria Cornick who will be stepping into her new role as Assistant Superintendent of Human Services, on August 28, 2024.

After receiving her Bachelor of Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Victoria started her career with HFCRD in 2005 where she taught at St. Stephen’s School for eight years, two of which she was an Assistant Principal.

In 2013, Victoria became the Principal of Holy Family School in Grimshaw, where she was an integral part of the Grimshaw Shared School Facility Project.  In 2014, Victoria graduated with a Master’s degree in Educational Studies from the University of Alberta. Victoria transferred to Good Shepherd in 2020 for one year until she became the Principal of Glenmary School in Peace River in 2021.

“As I prepare to transition from my role as Principal of Glenmary, it is important to note that it has been an honour to witness the remarkable talents and potential of our students and to work alongside such passionate educators. I am excited to bring this passion and experience to my new role as Assistant Superintendent of Human Services”, says Cornick.

I look forward to Victoria joining our team at Central Office. Her experience and passion for education will be an asset to the division”, says Superintendent Betty Turpin.
