Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) is pleased to welcome Mike Patin as the keynote speaker for the 2015 Division Faith Day on April 20th.  Mike Patin is a full-time speaker and ‘faith horticulturalist’ who uses energy and humor to affirm God’s goodness and presence.  Mr. Patin has spoken at many events across North America in over 130 dioceses.  Mr. Patin will speak about the following 3 topics: Blessed Mess, Called By Name and Now, Go and do the Same.  He will focus on the current milieu of Catholic education and the motivation to do what we are called to do.

“We are overjoyed to welcome a high-quality speaker like Mike Patin to our division,” said Superintendent Betty Turpin.  “I have seen Mr. Patin speak at multiple conferences and I am thrilled to have him spread his message to our staff.”

Faith Day is an annual celebration that brings all HFCRD staff together for a day of fellowship and reflection about their faith journey.  The 2015 Division Faith Day will weave the division’s theme of Fostering Communities of Care: Building Catholic Citizens, Building Healthy Relationships, and Building Ethical Action.  This theme was woven into all staff celebrations in the 2014/15 school year, from the school year kick-off mass, to the school-based Faith Days and now to the division Faith Day.  All HFCRD staff, Trustees and the local bishop and parish priests are invited to attend Faith Day each year.

“Faith Day is a special day for our school division where all 300+ staff join together to celebrate and to grow in our faith,” said Faith Permeation Coordinator and Faith Day Organizer John Kuran.  “Faith Day has been in this division for over 20 years and we look forward to continuing this important tradition.”
