HFCRD Recognizes Substitute Teacher Appreciation Week
Posted: March 9, 2015
In honour of Substitute Teacher Appreciation Week, the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) thanks substitute teachers for their hard work and dedication to education. A substitute teacher’s role is vital to carry out the activities planned by teachers when they are absent. Substitute teachers provide continuity in the classroom when the regular teacher is absent. Their role is extremely important and appreciated.
“Substitute teachers are invaluable to our schools and we want to thank them for their hard work and dedication,” said Superintendent Betty Turpin. “The role of a substitute teacher is vital for any school to function.”
HFCRD is currently seeking both certified and non-certified substitute teachers in Manning, Grimshaw, Peace River, McLennan, High Prairie and Valleyview. For more information or to apply, please call (780) 624-3956 or visit the Employment section at hfcrd.ab.ca.
