Four Glenmary Students Earn Spots at 2019 Canada-Wide Science Fair

Congratulations to the winners of the 2019 Peace Country Regional Science Fair. HFCRD students from Glenmary School and St. Stephen’s School had a strong showing overall at the PCRSF and all used their unique gifts and talents to create high quality science fair projects. Although not all projects won prizes, all students worked hard and produced outstanding projects.
Congratulations to Glenmary students Vijeth Castelino, Joshua Hewko, Mitch Davis and Jonathan Goudreault who earned spots at the 2019 Canada-Wide Science Fair in Fredericton from May 15 – 17, 2019. Vijeth Castelino, a grade 8 student, won gold in the Grades 7/8 Health and Life Sciences and won the Excellence in Health and Life Sciences Award. Joshua Hewko and Mitch Davis, grade 9 students, won gold in the Grades 9/10 Physics and Chemistry category. Jonathan Goudreault, a grade 8 student, won silver in the Grades 7/8 Health and Life Sciences category. Good luck to Vijeth, Joshua, Mitch and Jonathan at the 2019 Canada-Wide Science Fair!
