Please join us in welcoming HFCRD’s new Maintenance Technicians to HFCRD!

James Allan – Maintenance Technician (South Schools)

“I grew up in the Peace country and moved away after high school only to return 5 years ago with my beautiful wife Lisa and our daughter Keira. Our daughter Dahlia was born a couple of months later. We enjoy travelling in Mexico and everything outdoors including camping, boating, snowmobiling and riding ATVs.  I had  been working as a contractor in the Southern portion of the school division until I was offered this full time position. I am very excited to be a member of the HFCRD family and look forward to many years serving this excellent organization.”

If you see James in the halls of St. Stephen’s, St. Andrew’s, or Ecole Providence Schools, give him a friendly wave and welcome him to his new position in the division.  Congratulations on your new position James!

Oscar Abundo – Maintenance Technician (North Schools)

Oscar Abundo, originally from the Philippines, brings a wealth of experience from working in the automotive industry and sea transportation to his position as Maintenance Technician North.  Oscar earned his Bachelor of Science in 1988 from the Philippine Merchant Marine School, and was also trained in First Aid, Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting and the Maritime Training Center of the Philippines.  Oscar has lived in Peace River since 2011 with his wife Claribel and son Jodd.

If you see Oscar in the halls of Rosary, Holy Family, Glenmary or Good Shepherd Schools, be sure to give Oscar a warm welcome to the division.  Welcome Oscar!
