HFCRD Board of Trustees Changes Masking Requirement

Glenmary School located in Peace River, Alberta requires a Full-time Temporary 1.0 Secondary Math
Teacher to start immediately for a one year position.

The teaching assignment will include primarily high school math in and may include other potential
courses aligned with the candidate’s skill set within a grade 7-12 learning environment. Assignments most
likely will include Math 30-1/31, 20-1/20-3, 10C/10-3. Candidates may teach high school sciences if within
the candidates skill set including Science 10/14, Biology 30, Chemistry 30.

The ideal candidate will possess training, knowledge and experience in secondary math and potentially
high school sciences, and have an understanding of assessment for learning.

The successful candidate must be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta. Knowledge and
understanding of Inclusive Education, Indigenous Education, and educational technology proficiency
would be considered assets.

The successful candidate will be required to support students who have individualized program plans,
enrichment, modifications and/or accommodations to their learning. The successful candidate must be
willing to live in a rural Catholic community environment and be a team player, willing to collaborate,
communicate and work together with fellow colleagues. Preference will be given to candidates of the
Catholic faith.
